State Order Update:

Governor Roy Cooper ordered people in the state of North Carolina to stay at home for thirty days, until May 8, 2020.  Public K-12 schools in the state will be closed pending further notifications.  This also extends to the Driver Education Program in Public Schools.  As of now, all classroom and behind-the-wheel conducted through the public school system remains suspended. We will know more as the days progress and will post any updates as soon as they become available. Rest assured as soon as schedules return to normal, we will do everything possible to proceed with future classes and driving.

The Rocky Mount Driver Education Office is closed until further notice. For assistance, please call our Vanceboro office at  252-244-1220.

JDSC does not issue Driver Eligibility Certificates.

Parents/Students must contact their school as previously required and during the COVID-19 pandemic​​​​.


JDSC is only offering private BTW instruction at this time and cannot begin any in-seat classroom.  However,  online instruction is currently being evaluated.
