Our Driver Education class is taught using a hybrid format with Virtual Classroom meetings and blended learning with a supplemental program. This course includes 30 hours of instruction and assessments, and is concluded with a Final Exam.
The Full Course includes the 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel driving lessons, these will be scheduled once the classroom portion has been completed and students have been assigned to driving instructors.

Students eligible to enroll in private instruction will only include students in our coverage area of (Eastern North Carolina, the Triangle area, Fayetteville, and close proximity to our public contracted school systems) private, home school, charter schools, and public school students not enrolled in Drivers Education through our contracted public school systems.
Our 8 contracted North Carolina Public School Districts include: Bladen, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City, Craven, Franklin, Lenoir, Nash, Person, and Vance County Schools. Students from the listed school systems above should register for classes in your specific school system if available (Refer to our home page).
JDS Carolinas offers private 30-hr Virtual Driver Education Class including 6-hrs
of behind-the-wheel instruction. Cost: $495
JDS Carolinas offers private behind-the-wheel ONLY (if your student has already
completed classroom and is waiting to drive). Cost: $395
